In my interview with Steve Hoogstraten, owner of Hoogstraten Builders, Inc., he shares key factors that build buyer trust: transparency, fair pricing, and personal service.

One thing that stood out to me was how hands-on Steve and his team are. They frame the homes themselves, working even through Michigan's most brutal winters. Their specialty in carpentry and their commitment to beautiful woodwork and high-end finishes are what really make their homes stand out.

A stress-free experience for every client. I've heard plenty of stories about the stressful building process, but Steve takes a different approach. He believes building a home should be a fun, exciting journey, not one filled with tension and headaches. Steve plans carefully, communicates openly, and allows clients to make decisions without pressure. If changes come up, he handles them fairly and reasonably. It's no surprise that many of the people Steve has built homes for have become his close friends over the years.
