Kalamazoo roots and professional service

I was raised in Kalamazoo and have spent most of my life here. I graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School, attended Calvin University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communication from Trinity Christian College.

I previously served as a Board Director for the Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® (GKAR) and Board Manager for the Michigan Regional Information Center (MichRIC), completing both terms in December 2025. I continue to serve on the GKAR MLS Committee. I am also a member of the Kalamazoo Real Estate Investment Association and the Rental Property Owner’s Association.

Beyond real estate

My wife and I have five children and attend The River Church in downtown Kalamazoo, where I serve on the Executive Team and volunteer in audio/video and worship. We have also facilitated Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University classes several times.

Outside of work, I enjoy time with family at our cabin in northern Michigan, camping, skiing, kayaking, music and conversations around a campfire.
